Candle Care
It is very important to trim the candle wick to 1/4 inch before each and every lighting. This will ensure a safe flame height, prevent any soot from forming, help your candle to burn evenly, and to last longer.
Wooden wick candles need to have the excess burnt wood trimmed off before every lighting.
The first burn of your candle should be a minimum of three hours, or as long as it takes for the wax to melt completely across the top of the vessel. Wax has a memory, and this will prevent any tunneling down into the center of the wax.
The candles are best extinguished with a candle snuffer, wick dipper, or swift puff of air.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep well out of reach of children and pets.
Only burn on a smooth, flat surface, far away from any other materials.
Stop burning your candle once the wax is 1/2 inch from the bottom of the vessel.
